Carbon is the basic building block of plant tissue, constituting over 40% of the dry weight of plants, making it the most important macronutrient. Carbon reserves in water are limited; some carbon dioxide diffuses from the atmosphere, while another portion is produced by fauna through respiration. Natural CO2is also produced by the decomposition of organic substances dissolved in water. In highly lit aquariums with many plants, natural carbon dioxide levels drop to near zero, so unless a gaseous CO2 system is installed,carbon supplementation is necessary. Carbon dioxide deficiency causes slower growth and, in extreme cases, inhibition. CO2 deficienciesin the tank can lead to the formation of various types of algae. Gen C – Carbon Liquid Fertilizer is a preparation of organic carbon in its most easily digestible form. This fertilizer can be used as the primary carbon source in an aquarium or as a supplement to carbon dioxide dosing. Regular use of the product significantly improves the condition of plants in the aquarium while preventing algae growth. 

Dosage:

30ml: 1 drop/5 liters of water daily. It's best to dose near the filter outlet. For large numbers of plants, increase the fertilizer dose accordingly.
